Young Guns Challenge

Outcomes the Training People and The Rotary Club of Atherton are proud to hold this years Cooking Competition (The Young Gun Challenge). The Tastes of the Tablelands Cooking Competition is held on the 16th September starting at 9.30am.

First Cook off, 9.30am to 11am (10 mins for Judge)
Second Cook off 11.15am – 12.45pm (10 mins for judge)
Third Cook off, 1pm to 2.30pm (10 mins to judge)

The cook off will consist of a mystery basket of local produce. Each participant will receive a different allocation of ingredients.

The participant will have to prepare, cook and present two meals (of the same meal) for judging. One will be displayed to the public and the other will be judged by our guest judges.

Sausage Making Competition

Live Music

Butchers from around the region have been invited to present their best sausage creation for judging. The awards for this and the cooking competition will be presented at 3pm on the main stage.

Music

Delight your ears as well as your tastebuds with live music and dance performances by Swamp Dogs, In 2 Dance Dancers, Sing Australia and the Silver Strings Quartet.

Fashion Parade

Fashion ParadeCome dressed for a garden party and be in the running for the best dressed fashion of the day. We will have best dressed female, best dressed male and best dressed child. Our judges for the day are Lesley Tye- Parsons and Linda Gloger.

Children's Activities

To keep the children amused, there will be face painting, jumping castles, sand art and lots more.
